Probably the most beautiful and picturesque settlement in Thassos. Just 7 km from Skala Prinos, a setting dominated by traditional houses made of stone and with slate roofs, which in recent years have been restored and maintained by their owners.

A small mountain village, a journey through time and history. A settlement of traditional houses with narrow streets, which are inaccessible by car, gives you the opportunity to enjoy hiking in a dreamy setting from the past.

Another picturesque settlement in the northeastern part of the island that preserves its traditional architecture with its slate roofs and wooden balconies.
Every 15th of August, it attracts many visitors, who stroll through the alleys exploring the small shops and celebrating the Assumption of the Virgin Mary with the locals—an experience worth living wherever you are in Greece.

Today, Theologos preserves many of its traditions and is well-known for its gastronomy, especially for the spit-roasted kid goat, which you can savor at some of the traditional taverns.
The capital of the island during the Ottoman period and one of its oldest settlements – the first written records of its existence date back to 1287.

ARIES
Lake Maries is the only artificial lake in Thassos, surrounded by 12 waterfalls in total, below and above the lake.
They are accessible to the visitors, although it takes a little hiking to climb up to them and of course take a swim in the cold and clear water.
